What once was a youthful pirate filled with wanderlust is now a jaded old soul who has seen the ways of the world. He has suffered much and lost both his naivety and bright-eyed hope.
Still, the ways of the young pirate within him remain, and the cynical, bloodthirsty bastard within is only seen if provoked. He has learned to hold some sense of manner when in the main camps of some settlers, but give him enough beer...it's another story altogether. If you hear him slipping back into his regular pirate tongue, you know he's only a few bottles away from lashing out at any offenders, even if their malice isn't aimed at him.
