The legendary Captain Jacobi arrived on Shartak over five years ago. Running from his highbrow brother Commodore Jacobi, his ship, the Rusty Spoon, ran aground along an atoll nearby the actual shipwreck. Upon swimming ashore, he trekked off into the jungle, only to be hacked to pieces by the infamous Long Fin Kille. Running from the malicious Long Fin Kille, Captain Jacobi soon discovered the mouth of a river (aptly named the Long Fin River). There was a motley crew of pirates and outsider alike, who all shared a fondness for the river mouth. They quickly bonded and formed the River Borne Fury, the first clan to operate in only one square. They quickly fell apart. From then on Captain Jacobi spent much of his time exploring the area around the shipwreck, and mapping the island (however he found himself killed so many times mapping seemed impossible). For a brief period of time Captain Jacobi spent a copious amount of time within the Sacred Space, gather apples. Near the supposed end of Shartak, Captain Jacobi joined the Headhunters in a grand ceremony. While he was there, he was possessed by a spirit that showed him the secret of the Anti-Cough. Sharing this secret with the Headhunters yielded an Honorary Headhunter Title, which Captain Jacobi holds with pride. Since that point, Captain Jacobi has explored more of the island, and made more friends (and even more enemies). For a while, Captain Jacobi wandered the island, looking for another Heavy Sword, and collecting fruit for nefarious purposes. Much time had passed, and Captain Jacobi had finally awoken from his long and deep slumber. During his sleep, he came up with a blockbuster idea to make a series of images about a dream within a dream, which he then unfortunately forgot. He spent a long time fighting his way across the island, slaying the vile animals to gain the ability to put a parrot on his shoulder. How the correlation between killing things and parrots was made has yet to be determined. At some point, Captain Jacobi wandered down to Durham, where his brother, Commodore Jacobi was stationed. With his brother no where to be found, Captain Jacobi decided to stay in Durham, collecting FAK's and looking for the so-called "Pistol". More recently Captain Jacobi has been found only intermittently, as if he isn't around all that much anymore.
