You see a refugee from Holland who speaks with a heavy accent. He has slight stubble and mildly long hair under a cavalier-style hat. He wears a weathered green greatcoat coat over a bright orange shirt, brown pants, and heavy black boots. A bandoleer of ammunition is around his waist. A scar on his wrist indicates that he wore prison shackles at one point. He carries a pistol tucked into his bandoleer, a rifle over his shoulder, a machete, and a cutlass. He sometimes wears a standard militia backpack, carrying all the essential supplies that a Colonial soldier needs including: Cantene, knife, sleeping cot, and tenderbox. He has the look of an expert marksman, and is usually seen with some kind of cigar, cigarrette, or tobacco pipe in his mouth. He smells likes sea water.
Hunter was originally a prisoner being sent to Shartak to serve in the Dutch army there. But he disliked the idea and came up missing soon after his arrival. A few months later he was seen in Durham, now fighting under the banner of the Durham Pistoleers, where he still fights today.
