A 65 year old man, stands at 6ft 2''. Came over with his Grandson, MajesticNinja. Not as firery as Majestic, he likes to sit outside his hut with a ice cold mangoe and rum. Has a long beard(says he has better things to do then shave) and is good with animals. He used to spend weeks in the wilderness as a child, playing with the animals. Now has probably the ONLY Red Squarral on Shartak. Midge(the squarral) constantly hangs around and does small chores for Dan. Although not the violent type, Dan carries 3 axes around, and has more then once killed a dangerous animal that could hurt other animals. Is interested in the natives in Shartak, but wishes the Wiksiks would just leave him and Derby alone. Frequently goes out with MajesticNinja and searches for Wiksiks.
