Dionísio Bag was originally a Portuguese Capitão-mor, a Captain-Major overseeing the Captaincy of Pernambuco.
He turned to piracy out of economic necessity after a number of factors out of his control, including a global downturn in sugar cane prices and the refusal of the Portuguese crown to expand the port at Olinda, made his Captaincy no longer financially viable.
While his greatest concern is accumulating wealth, he will not hesitate to stab you in the eye out of spite, even where the opportunity for financial gain is meager. However, opportunities to expand his wealth will always be looked upon favorably.
They carry 1 tricorn hat.
