Description:

yik's parents were not particularly literate, hence the name (thought to mean "that"). Still, yik has managed to shake the shackles of his parentage and has branched out to explore the island, see what flavours he can find along the way.

In particular, he searches for the rare fruit from the cheese tree. He has heard that it has magical properties, and goes well melted on toast.
