One minute our flight is on a training run over the Bahamas, clear skies all the way. Next thing we know, a storm blows up, all weird and green and glowy. Like something out of the picture shows. Came out of nowhere. I tried to hold my Avenger through her but the instruments went all screwy. When I lost the engine, I had no choice but to ditch. Figure the rest of the flight went down at the same time, but we hit way wrong - understand it's like trying to fly a damn brick. She sank SO fast, barely had time to get out. Charlie, my bombadier, never re-surfaced. Victor, my gunner, noticed the profile of an island in the distance, silhouetted by a flash of lightning. We figured to make for that, but I lost him in the dark, storm-tossed waters.

I came to here on the beach. Alone. But... just where the hell is here?
