Matted dreadlocks are weighed down by carved bits of outsider bone and he wears a belt made of human teeth slung low across narrow hips. He likes to have long conversations with the stars and spends most of his time alone, conversing with the Skygods. Lithe from the jungle, lean from bushmeat, his stare is far away when he smiles. As a member of the Royal Court from childhood, he bore witness to the rise and reign of the late Queen, sheding blood for her and his kin. Now, he smokes too much, and drinks the brew of the outsiders he so despises, if only to hear the Skygods more clearly. He doesn't care what you have to say, and he has a soft spot for canibals (if only for their knife skills...and stew). He longs for the festivals of yesteryear, and the painted girls of his village with laurals of sage and round hips.
Seeking advice from the Skygods, Taiaka went on a journey to the place he buried his heart and met an outsider who gave him a choice. Taking this as an omen, he let the paleface live and even healed the man's savage wounds. Confused by his own actions, Taiaka punished himself by climbing deep into an underground cave where the Skygods could not see him. There he met an oracle- the giant spider Kammon. The beast poisoned Taiaka without a word and a battle ensued. Taiaka survived but the poison was potent. Visions of a differnet Shartak, a different Raktam, came to him.
Recently punched a goat to death.
Just returned from a month long vision quest on the sacred mountain in service to the Trials of the Skygods.
After spending a very long time at the top of the Green Tower, away from his people, Taiaka incarnated to find the Royal Court changed. A new queen sits upon the throne, a weak king at her side. Queen Rotting Mango & King Black Flies.
Taiaka was filled with hate and the memory of his blue hummingbird.
Wears the face-paint of his ancestors and hunts the borders of his land with newly found purpose as bodyguard of the rightful queen of Raktam.
A reckoning is coming.
They carry 1 rabbit foot charm, 1 wild boar tusk necklace, 1 skull staff, 1 pair of batwing earrings, 1 parrot feather charm, 1 monkey claw charm, 6 skulls, 2 silver skull crosses and 1 harpoon.
